Contractor Referral Partner Programme

Refer a NZ tech leader with a contractor gap.

If your intro becomes a successful paid placement, you may qualify for a $500-$1,000 referral reward per contractor.

We help NZ tech teams fill urgent contractor gaps across software, data, BA, DevOps, cloud, cyber, ERP, integration, product, and delivery roles.

Referral rewards are subject to written acceptance, eligibility, placement milestones, contract length, conflict-of-interest checks, and client payment.
Referral reward
$500-$1,000

Paid when the referral turns into a real result.

$500 may be payable when a referred contractor reaches 12 paid weeks and the client has paid Nonstop Talent. An additional $500 may be payable when that same contractor reaches 26 paid weeks. Rewards are capped at $1,000 per contractor placement.

You do not need to sell us. Just make the intro.
We protect your relationship. No hard sell. No awkward pressure.
Rewards apply to accepted referrals and paid successful placements only.
Urgent backfillA senior person leaves and delivery cannot wait.
Project pressureA deadline is moving because the team is short.
Specialist gapThe work needs someone the market does not easily provide.
Hiring riskThe wrong contractor would cost more than the delay.
Why this exists

Most contractor gaps get expensive before anyone notices.

One missing person can slow a project, stretch a team, delay a release, or leave critical work sitting with the wrong person.

A contractor gap does not always look dramatic at the start.

A senior engineer leaves during a delivery push.
A BA gap slows the whole project team down.
A cyber, cloud, or infrastructure project needs specialist hands quickly.
An integration project is stuck because the right person is missing.

That is when a good intro matters.

You are not just passing on a name. You may be helping a team avoid weeks of delay, wasted day rate, and a rushed hire that creates more work later.

How it works

Four simple steps.

No complicated affiliate portal. No awkward selling. No long process.

1

You make the intro

Send us the hiring manager’s details, or introduce us by email or LinkedIn.

2

We accept or decline it

We check if the referral is new to Nonstop Talent and confirm the status in writing.

3

We run the search

If the company engages us, we help them find the right contractor or permanent hire.

4

You may get rewarded

Once the placement milestone is met and the client has paid us, we arrange the eligible reward.

Who to refer

Think of someone with a contractor gap, not just “someone hiring”.

The best referrals are usually tech leaders who already feel the pressure. They need someone practical, capable, and ready to deliver quickly.

CTO, CIO, Head of Engineering, Head of Delivery, Founder, Programme Director, Product Lead, or GM Technology
NZ company with an urgent contractor or specialist hiring gap
Team is stretched, delivery is slowing, or the role has been hard to fill
Good referral signals

Listen for these lines.

“We need someone quickly.”
“The team is stretched.”
“This contractor role has been hard to fill.”
“We cannot afford to get this one wrong.”
“We need someone who can come in and deliver.”
“We tried ads, but the quality is not right.”
“We need a BA / developer / DevOps / data / cyber person now.”
SoftwareDevelopers, engineers, tech leads
Data / AIData engineers, analysts, ML support
BA / ProductBusiness analysts, product support
DevOps / CloudPlatform, cloud, infrastructure
Cyber SecuritySecurity, GRC, incident response
Network SecurityFirewall, MSP, NOC, support
ERP / IntegrationSAP, systems, integration work
Project DeliveryPM, delivery, implementation
Who this is for

This works best for people close to tech hiring pain.

The strongest referral partners are not random promoters. They are people who hear about delivery gaps before recruiters do.

Contractors and candidates

You hear what is happening inside teams. If another team is stretched, you may spot the gap before anyone else does.

Consultants and advisors

Fractional CTOs, delivery consultants, project advisors, cyber consultants, and MSP owners often see hiring gaps early.

Past clients and trusted network

If another leader asks who can help with tech contractors, you can send them to us with confidence.

Relationship protection

Your intro is safe with us.

People do not refer because of money alone. They refer when they believe the person they introduce will be treated well.

No hard sell

If there is no real hiring need, we leave the conversation clean. No pressure. No awkward chasing.

No CV spam

We do not send CVs just to look busy. We first understand the role, the environment, and the delivery risk.

No relationship damage

Your contact gets a practical hiring conversation, not a pushy sales call. Your trust stays protected.

4days to fill an urgent contract integration role
Proof point

Contract hiring works best when the search starts with the real delivery risk.

In one large NZ environment, the team needed an urgent integration contractor who could move fast inside a complex legacy system. Because we already knew the market, we moved quickly without lowering the signal.

Make it easy

Not sure what to say?

Copy one of these. You do not need to explain everything. Just make the intro.

How this works

It works like an affiliate programme, but it should not feel like one.

This is not mass promotion. This is a trusted referral partner programme for people who know NZ tech leaders with real contractor or hiring gaps.

!

The reward is not paid for an introduction alone.

It is paid when the referral becomes a successful paid client outcome. That means the referred company engages Nonstop Talent, we place the contractor or candidate, the placement conditions are met, and the client has paid us.

For the referrer

You make a warm intro to a hiring manager or business leader who may need contractor support. If it turns into a successful placement, you may qualify for a referral reward.

For the hiring manager

✓ No hard sell✓ Practical hiring check✓ Relationship protected

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I get paid just for making an introduction?

No. The reward is paid only if the referral turns into a successful paid client outcome under the terms above.

What counts as a successful contractor referral?

The referred company must sign a recruitment agreement with Nonstop Talent, the contractor must start, the contractor must reach the relevant paid week milestone, and Nonstop Talent must receive payment from the client.

How does the $500-$1,000 contractor reward work?

$500 may be payable when the referred contractor reaches 12 paid weeks and the client has paid us. An additional $500 may be payable when the same contractor reaches 26 paid weeks and the client has paid us. The cap is $1,000 per contractor placement.

What if the client hires more contractors or permanent staff?

If you introduce a new client and the referral is accepted, you may qualify for rewards on successful placements made with that client within 12 months of the accepted referral date. Each placement is assessed separately and must meet the programme terms.

What if I refer my own manager or employer?

You must disclose this when submitting the referral. Nonstop Talent may require written approval from the relevant organisation before any reward is paid. We may decline, redirect, donate, or waive the reward if payment creates a conflict-of-interest or procurement risk.

What if the company is already speaking with Nonstop Talent?

If the company, hiring manager, or hiring need is already known to us or already in conversation with us, the referral may not qualify for a reward.

What if two people refer the same company?

The reward goes to the first valid referrer accepted by Nonstop Talent. This is why we check and confirm referral eligibility early.

Do I need permission before sharing someone’s details?

Yes. The best option is a warm intro by email or LinkedIn. If you are sharing contact details directly, please make sure you have permission.

Will Nonstop Talent hard sell my contact?

No. Your relationship matters. If there is no fit, we leave the conversation clean. We do not want your intro to feel awkward.

Ready to refer?

Think of one tech leader with a contractor gap.

Someone with a delayed project, stretched team, urgent backfill, or specialist role they cannot afford to get wrong. Make the intro. We will handle it carefully.
